Next Wednesday the Yellow™ Auckland Homeshow opens at 10.00 am!
 

A venue full of specialty exhibitors for all needs to do with your home.

 

· Property Know How Seminars run daily covering topics such as ‘safety in your home’, Kiwisaver, and Resene’s ‘colour your home’. Speakers include Don Brash and John Banks.

 

· The Fisher & Paykel World Cooking theatre will be entertaining guests with top chefs such as Richard Till - renowned chef, TV personality and food critic.

 

· The National Kitchen and Bathroom Awards (the NKBA) will be held on the evening of Thursday 11th being the first time it has been part of the Yellow™ Auckland Homeshow . All the award winners will be on display, including a fully made up version of the student award winning entry.

 

· Massive show discounts and a variety of prizes are up for grabs including a major prize package of a kitchen package worth $35,000 from NKBA

 

· Legendary Jim Townsend will again create the Floradell Street of Houses; a wonderful cul de sac of ready-built homes complete with gardens, pools and landscaping. His Gardens of the World display will take visitors through tropical Singapore, a Mediterranean courtyard and New Zealand native forest.

 

· Compare homeheating, new appliances, builders, renovation companies, designers and architectural experts, and finance companies all at one location for value of your dollar and making decisions on where to spend money in this tough climate for maximum return.

 

· Auckland Landscape Suppliers will be transforming one hall into a Walk of Gardens exhibition featuring eight different designers, each showcasing current trends in outdoor décor.

 

· The Corrections Department will have a stand of furniture created by prisoners learning carpentry trades to get their lives back on track.

 

· The Eye Chair from MMD is a new bean bag on display at the Yellow™ Auckland Homeshow; not only is it a funky and comfortable piece of furniture it comes complete with ipod input and speakers. A truly multimedia bean bag!

 

· The Designer Living Pavilion is full of intelligent appliances, modern furniture and the latest in wallcoverings and homewares.

 

· With foot traffic of 55,000 to 60,000 people the Yellow™ Auckland Homeshow is the biggest of its kind in Australasia.
