The Voice Of 2014 - Anja Nissen -Announces Album!

Universal Music are proud to welcome 18-year-old Anja Nissen to the family, after she took home the winning title of The Voice of Australia 2014. In an amazing twist, Nissen went on to win by becoming the fifth artist into The Voice Grand Finale after being saved by the new instant public vote via the Vodafone HomeCoach App.

Anja’s winner’s album ‘Anja Nissen’ will be released on August 1st . The album is a memento of her journey on the show, including never-before released recordings of her initial performances.

Sydney based Nissen, a member of will.i.am’s team and the only female solo artist in The Voice Finale, had three performances break into the iTunes Top 100 during the season, including her memorable renditions of ‘I Have Nothing’, ‘I’ll Be There ‘and ‘Wild’.
Anja captured the hearts of the nation and was a confident crowd pleaser throughout the series. She first discovered her love of singing at a young age whilst on her parent’s rural property, where she split her time between her love of singing and her love of nature.

Fans will be able to get up close to Anja when she hits the road for ‘The Voice On Tour’ with the Top 8 finalists from the show.  Performing in arenas in July in all major cities, the finalists will be performing a mixture of group songs, duets and solo performances.
