Four unique bathing areas are available to suit everyone’s requirements – deluxe, adult, private or family. The pools are spring- fed with soothing hot alkaline water, and hot acidic water, renowned for its curative properties.
The Lake Spa is Polynesian Spa’s deluxe hot mineral bathing and relaxation area. Enjoy tranquil bathing and lake views in the four alkaline rock pools, each with different temperatures (36?C to 42?C). Here you are surrounded by revitalizing native New Zealand flora, natural rocks, and the energizing sight and sound of two waterfalls and a grotto that reflects the glistening water. Well appointed changing rooms and a relaxation lounge add to this deluxe experience.
The Adult Pools & Priest Spa is an area just for adults, offering seven hot mineral pools with views of Lake Rotorua. Three cascading, marble-lined pools (36?C to 39?C), feature alkaline water. The smooth terraced walls provide a popular resting spot for bathers! The large deeper alkaline pool (38?C) is an excellent place to stretch out for some light activity. While the three Priest Spa pools (39?C to 42?C), offer special thermal bathing in acidic water from the Radium hot spring, long renowned for its therapeutic properties. Also historic, the Priest Spa was named after a catholic priest, who in the late 1800’s gained great relief from arthritis when bathing in the hot spring waters.
Relax in the privacy of your very own private pool. Four deluxe pools (39?C) offer panoramic views over Lake Rotorua, and nine standard pools (39?C) provide quiet seclusion. Conveniently, each pool has a heated changing room and a shower. Your own space in a special place - savor this private thermal experience.
Family fun and enjoyment beckons in this energetic pool area. A large freshwater chlorinated pool (33?C) provides a toddler’s section, and a small hydro slide for a splashing good time! The larger, deeper section of the pool encourages family frivolity and light fitness activity. Two wonderfully convenient alkaline pools (37?C and 40?C) overlook the large freshwater pool. Here families can relax in the soothing thermal water while supervising their children. Spacious changing rooms are provided and lockers are available. The Family Spa - a fun place to be!

Polynesian Spa is located on Hinemoa Street in central Rotorua. Opening hours are 8am until 11pm daily, with the last pool entry at 10.15pm.
