PJs with purpose

No girl can deny the simple pleasure of slipping into her favourite PJs and getting a good night’s rest. However for women diagnosed with breast cancer, drifting into a peaceful slumber is often not so easy.

New Zealand has one of the highest rates of incidence and the third highest death rate from breast cancer in the western world. While this is a horrifying statistic, Breast Cancer Cure (BCC) is working hard to find a cure.

HOST A PJ PARTY

Breast Cancer Cure is also encouraging Kiwis across the country to put on a PJ party to help raise funds.

Grab your friends, chuck on your nighties or jammies and have a girls’ night in! Register online, then come up with creative ways you can help out.

How about putting together treat bags filled with goodies to sell to your guests? Or you could do home baking and have your own mini bake sale. Give each other manicures for $5, or do a clothing swap for a gold coin donation per item. You could go home with a new wardrobe, and do some good in the world at the same time! There are heaps of ways for you to get creative with your fundraising and have some fun while you’re at it.
