Trilogy International announces appointment of Angela Buglass as Managing Director, Trilogy Natural Products

Trilogy International Limited (NZX:TIL) has appointed Angela Buglass as managing director of Trilogy Natural Products as it gears up for a new phase of international growth.

Reporting to Trilogy International Group CEO, Stephen Sinclair, Ms Buglass will be responsible for all aspects of the Trilogy Natural Products business, including setting the strategy in conjunction with the Trilogy International CEO and the Board.

Announcing the appointment, Mr Sinclair said Ms Buglass’ appointment followed a global search.

“Angela has had a long and successful international career in the beauty and skincare industry in our key growth markets, working with leading brands including Aveda (part of Estée Lauder), L’Oreal and Charles Worthington, as well as global beauty giant, LF Beauty.
“We believe that this experience, combined with our existing team, will help accelerate our growth and further strengthen our brand and business.”

Ms Buglass said she was delighted to join Trilogy and looked forward to working with the wider Trilogy team to grow Trilogy Natural Products.

“Having recently returned from more than 15 years working overseas, I am excited about the opportunities to help an already successful New Zealand business take its natural beauty products to even more people around the world.”

Ms Buglass will be based in Wellington.

Angela Buglass – Biography
Angela has recently returned from 15 years in the UK where she held the role of Vice President Marketing for LF Beauty, part of the global sourcing giant Li & Fung. Her core focus for the past 2 years has been brand growth and development within the UK and Asia.
Angela's beauty experience includes roles with leading players Procter & Gamble, L'Oreal and Estée Lauder (working on the AVEDA brand). Her category experience includes cosmetics, skincare/spa, haircare/salon and fragrance. As Vice President, her areas of responsibility included sales, brand marketing, product sourcing/new product development, merchandising and display and new market expansion.
