2015 ones to watch: George the Poet

George Mpanga is just 23-years old, but has already performed on tracks by Emeli Sande, Labrinth, Naughty Boy and Wretch 32, supported Nas on tour as well as performed on Later with Jools Holland.
This year he is nominated for the Brits Critics Choice, MTV Brand new for 2015 and the BBC Sound Poll(he placed 5th).
Single ‘1,2 , 1, 2’ was on the ‘In New Music We Trust’ playlist on Radio 1 and George has built up a huge live following on the University gig circuit.
George has already had over 4 million YouTube views, which is more than the current poet laureate
The album is coming in 2015 and George is working with Mr Hudson, Sly and Robbie, MJ Cole, Steve Brooker (John Newman) , Matthew Benbrook (Paolo Nutini)
