The Bridge Pa Wine Festival promises to be fantastic day out for wine and food connoisseurs.

Set in eight boutique wineries ­– accessible by free shuttle buses that travel the route – the event offers festival-goers a unique opportunity to taste wines from the Bridge Pa Triangle Wine Growing Region. Join in the carnival atmosphere taste great wines, enjoy superb food and live performances from some of Hawke’s Bay’s best musicians.

What is included in my ticket?
Your festival ticket provides you with the following:
• Entry to the 2015 Bridge Pa Wine Festival sites
• A tasting glass and holder
• This festival programme
• Access to the free shuttle buses that go around the festival circuit
• Full day’s entertainment with some of Hawke’s Bay’s best live entertainment acts.

Festival Information
• Hours:10am – 5pm
• No one under the age of 18, even if accompanied by a parent or guardian, will be permitted on site.
• The festival site is SMOKEFREE. However each winery will have a clearly marked designated smoking area.
• Each wine serving station will have free water available, there will also be bottled water available to purchase at some sites.
• Pack sunscreen and hat for the festival.
• Lost property will be held at each individual winery
• The event will go ahead rain or shine
• No beverages (other than water) are allowed to be taken onto the site and will be confiscated on entry
• No foods are allowed to be taken on site – unless you have specific dietary requirements
• Bags may be searched on entry
• You may appear in photos used for publicity
• Please support our Zero Waste policy
• Strictly no dogs allowed on site

Conditions of entry
It is against the law to serve alcohol to intoxicated people. Persons showing signs of intoxication on arrival at any festival site will be refused entry. Persons who are visibly intoxicated once inside a festival site will not be served alcohol, and will be asked to leave the premises.

It is against the law to serve alcohol to minors. If we are in doubt of your age, we will ask you for identification.

Wine Sales
There will be no individual bottle sales on the day, all drinks will be either served into your tasting glass or in plastic glasses. Any bottles containing alcohol, whether open or not, will be confiscated.

However wineries do have the option for festival goers to prepurchase wine to collect from their cellar door the next day or be couriered to their address.

During the day, festival goers are only allowed to purchase 4 glasses at a time per customer.
After 3pm, festival goers are only allowed to purchase 2 glasses at a time per customer
Wine sales cease at 4:30pm, gates close at 5pm promptly.

Medical
There will be limited first aid at each festival venue, if you have any issues, please contact the winery host to ensure prompt treatment.

Money Facilities
Each winery will have EFTPOS facilities, however cash-out will be limited and may not be available at all sites. All wineries accept cash, Eftpos, Visa and Mastercard.

Catch A Bus
Buses will be at a winery every 15 - 20 minutes. Shuttle busses travel in an anti-clockwise direction. You must have a red, blue or green coloured wristband to ride on the circuit busses. You must still be wearing your blue wristband to catch a bus back to Napier, or red wristband to Hastings or Havelock North. No food or drink is to be taken on the bus.
