“THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BREAKING MY HEART BECAUSE YOU GOT ME FOUR GRAMMYS.”SAM SMITH

Sam Smith was the golden child of the 2015 GRAMMY Awards, winning 4 statues, including Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Best New Artist. He also performed his hit ‘Stay With Me’ with the iconic Mary J Blige, adding another highlight to the ceremony.

Smith is the first UK male debut artist to win Record Of The Year, and the first UK male in general since 1997, when Eric Clapton took home the award.

He is also the first ever UK male debut artist to win Song Of The Year, and the first UK male debut to win Best New Artist since 1966 (Tom Jones). Smith is only the 9th UK artist to ever win the award.

This tops off an unbelievable year for the British sensation, who was the only artist in the world to sell 1 Million albums in both the UK and US in 2014.
