Cyclevox, the UK’s leading cycling commentary, PR and production company, has today announced the launch of the world’s first dedicated women’s cycling video channel, Voxwomen (www.voxwomen.com).

The initiative will launch on Saturday, 28 February, on a weekend where women’s cycling will be in the spotlight as Dame Sarah Storey takes on the World Hour Record.

The online service, which is produced by women for women, will give subscribers an exclusive insight into the women’s international peloton. Viewers will enjoy news coverage of some of the world’s greatest female cycling events, rider interviews, cycling challenges, ‘top tips’, ‘top tens, how to’ content plus much more.

Cyclevox Founder and UCI Women’s World Cup Commentator, Anthony McCrossan, is launching Voxwomen to give female professional cyclists a voice and to encourage equality across the sport.

He said: “Cycling’s popularity is rapidly growing however there is a real need for on-going investment in women’s cycling at the highest level. I have always been an advocate of the women’s professional racing scene and am pleased to be able to assist with the continued growth of the sport through the creation of Voxwomen.

“We will utlise the production skills and expertise built up by Cyclevox over the last seven years to create fresh, female focused content which I’m certain will inspire riders of all levels and ages to join us on our Voxwomen journey. We have brought together a great team of women who have been working hard to pull our first videos together. The response from the professional teams we have filmed has been fantastic”

Leading industry organisations, Madison and Trek have both backed the channel and have signed up as Voxwomen Founding Sponsors. Sufferfest,, which offers high-intensity cycling training videos, is also working with the channel as a Voxwomen Partner.

McCrossan added: “Receiving the support of Madison, Trek and Sufferfest is a huge coup for Voxwomen and I’m delighted that they share our vision of giving women’s cycling a voice. We’re looking forward to combining all of our skills and expertise to help raise awareness of the women’s professional peloton and inspiring women of all ages to take up the sport and enjoy riding their bikes.”

Kellie Parson, Marketing Director at Madison, said: “"Interest in women's cycling has really grown in recent years and with channels like Voxwomen, that is almost certainly going to continue.

“Madison supports and is heavily involved in women's cycling, including sponsoring the Pearl Izumi Sports Tours International team set up by Dame Sarah Storey, and we are pleased to see others in the industry also giving the sport the drive we believe it deserves. Knowing the quality of content that comes out of Cyclevox well, I'm really looking forward to seeing Voxwomen's productions."

Emily Bremer, Women's & City Bike Marketing Manager at Trek, is delighted for the bike manufacturer to be the only bike sponsor for the channel and she added: “"Trek has been dedicated to women in the sport of cycling from the very start, and we certainly don’t plan to change that. When Cyclevox approached us with the opportunity, there was no decision to be made. We are 100% in support.”
