Mac’s is delighted to announce that it’s mid-strength pale ale, Mac’s Mid Vicious has been bottled following its March debut on tap in Mac’s Brew Bars and bars nationwide.

Mid Vicious is a lighter take on the American-influenced pale ale style of Mac’s Three Wolves, with a mix of American and New Zealand hops providing the characteristic citrus and tropical fruit notes.  At 2.5% ABV, it turns down the alcohol, but keeps the volume up on hop aroma and flavour.

Stephanie Scard from Mac’s says: “At Mac’s we recognise the importance of having an option for those people looking for an alternative to full strength beer. We’re thrilled with how Mid Vicious has been received on tap, and we’re pleased it is now available to be enjoyed with friends out and about or at home.”

Andrew Madden, the head brewer also says “It’s always a challenge to create a beer with a lower alcohol percentage that retains the hop aroma and flavour that pale ale fans expect. It took us a while to get the balance right, but we’re really proud of the beer we’ve created.”
So if you’re looking for a mid strength option, but prefer a craftier alternative, Mac’s Mid Vicious Pale Ale is available in six packs from all good stockists nationwide.
