Sport Wellington's July Buggy Walk

Sport Wellington Buggy Walks are a free event occurring every month. The walks take place at a different location every month and aim to provide parents and caregivers with the opportunity to discover some of the many buggy friendly walking tracks throughout the Wellington region.

The monthly Buggy Walks usually attract around 100 – 300 participants. The walks vary in length and difficulty but will usually take 45 – 60 minutes to complete. With no registration necessary, everyone is encouraged just to show up and take part. Participants can also take advantage of a free BBQ from Southern Cross Garden Bar and Restaurant, free coffee courtesy of Caffe L’affare, spot prizes and giveaways.

July Buggy Walk – Adventure Park, Whitby

When: Thursday, 2nd July 2015

Meet: Adventure Park, located off Discovery Drive in Whitby, Porirua

Start Time:  Meet from 10am for a 10.30am start.

Track: This walk begins at Adventure Park, before winding its way around the suburb of Whitby, and finishing back at Adventure Park. The circuit is primarily a sealed track which is suitable for all buggy types. There is a small amount of off-road trail involved so please ensure that you bring footwear that is appropriate.  There is also a fair amount of hilly gradient, so it is important that participants remember to keep brakes on if stopping and wrist-straps secured at all times.
