For the Winter 2015 season, Marmot has introduced the perfect training jacket – the Dash Hybrid. Perfect for cold mornings on single-track trails; this lightweight, highly compressible wind shell with stretch side panels is designed for moving fast and moving far.

Christchurch based Adventure Racer Sia Svendsen has been wearing the Dash Hybrid on her early morning runs up the Port Hills and describes the jacket as “a great option to take the wind chill and yet keep you warm without heating up too quickly.” Ms. Svendsen will be competing next month in her first ultra marathon – the 101km Eiger Ultra in Switzerland and can’t wait to put her new Dash to the test.

Thanks to DriClime® Moisture Management Technology the Dash Hybrid combines uniquely plaited bi-component knit fabrics to mechanically draw moisture away from your skin – keeping you dry, warm and comfortable.

When asked about layering beneath the Dash Hybrid, Ms. Svendsen said, “I have worn the jacket in light rain and gale force winds with a Marmot thermal underneath. Mostly on a brisk morning I have been fine with a short sleeve thermal or even a singlet as the Dash Hybrid is an awesome windbreaker.”

In addition to being wind resistant, water repellent and breathable; the Marmot Dash Hybrid Jacket comes replete with 360° reflective features, drawcord adjustments at the collar and hem and a zippered chest pocket with media port.
