Designer inspiration

Designer Shuai Zhang was inspired by the look of the '60s, and was looking for an ultra-smooth finish with deep side-swept parting in front.

Brad Lepper is the founder and creative director of French Revolver Studio which has been described as a “Kiwi creative mecca, an inner-city epicentre where hair meets music meets fashion meets art”.

Despite his humble personality, Lepper is one of the most sought after hairstylists in New Zealand and has received a whole host of industry awards and accolades over the course of his career. He is the personal hairstylist for some of New Zealand’s top celebrities and musicians and has directed hair for shoots in numerous magazines.

Brad was awarded the Men’s Hair Stylist of the Year at Industry 2014 and has received a whole host of industry awards and accolades over the course of his career. He has directed hair for shoots in Remix, Real Groove, Viva, Her and Woman’s Day magazines.

With over fifteen years of industry experience, Brad was inspired by his travels and observations to start something fresh with French Revolver Studio. Brad's believes that one of the traits of highly creative people is an ambition to constantly evolve.

Brad is now a member of the Sebastian Professional International Artist Team and the style director for ITZME at the New Zealand Fashion Week 2015 Wella Presents show.










Julian Danger

Designer Inspiration

The hairstyling concept behind the Julian Danger runway show is about creating a look that is pretty and confident with elements of luxury. They are using an adorable fluffy hair accessory teamed up with a semi-structured chignon and lots of texture.

Raymond Robinson hails from Sydney where held a senior position at the fabulous Valonz salon. Raymond was a client on the books of Australia’s elite and renowned editorial hair & photographic agency DLM.

Raymond brings 25 years of experience from the highest level of international runway experience having styled hair for Kenzo, Givenchy & Prada, Sass & Bide & Gorman and more to celebrities such as Miranda Otto, Rachel Griffiths, Jackie O, Cheryl Cole, Kelly Rowland and Sophie Monk with his editorial work being published in Harpers, Vogue, Italian & UK Grazia, Rouge and Instyle to name a few.

Raymond is the style director for Kiwi brand Julian Danger at the 2015 New Zealand Fashion Week Wella Presents show.
