In celebration of one of the most anticipated shows at New Zealand Fashion Week, Stolen Girlfriends Club and Samsung have collaborated to launch #STOLENLOVESSAMSUNG as part of their Spring 2015 Collection Preview, ‘Township Rebellion’ on Wed 26 August. To mark an incredible 10 years, three elite photographers have been given the exclusive opportunity to capture and reveal momentous parts of Stolen Girlfriends Club’s journey at Fashion Week, through the lens of a Samsung Galaxy S6, Edge or Edge+ phone.

New Zealand’s leading photographers James Lowe, Loic Quédec and Harriet Were have been selected to expose rare stolen moments, never seen before, including the model fitting, backstage mayhem and the pinnacle moment that everyone waits for – show time.

“We are super excited about our new partnership with Samsung – such an innovative brand when it comes to technology and design. We have a pretty simple rule when we are looking at potential brand-partners – we have to personally love the brand and its products to be able to work with them and Samsung was a no-brainer. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve and where we can take this partnership,” said Marc Moore, Creative Director at Stolen Girlfriends Club.

Always top-secret and a first for the designers, each photographer will reveal their intimate insight of Stolen Girlfriends Club’s journey on their personal Instagram profiles. To share the story with public, fans can win their most wanted new season Stolen Girlfriends Club outfit, straight from the catwalk, and the coveted Samsung GS6 simply by following @SAMSUNGNZ and re-gram their favourite images with #STOLENLOVESSAMSUNG

@SAMSUNGNZ will be the social platform to reveal the full documentary of ‘Township Rebellion’ by each of the photographers, captured through the lens of Samsung GS6.

“With the Galaxy S6, we set out to create a smartphone that matched smart performance with a stunning look and feel. Our Galaxy S6 customers value edgy, iconic design that breaks the mould – which is very much in line with the Stolen Girlfriends approach to fashion. We’re excited to see the how the photographers use these devices to capture unique moments at the Fashion Week show,” said Mike Cornwell, Head of Marketing at Samsung New Zealand.
