What is Silverescent® technology?
Our innovation team uncovered that sweat odor is actually naturally occurring bacteria that breaks down sweat and causes stink. Silverescent® technology, powered by X-STATIC®, prevents the growth of these odour-causing bacteria.
 


How does it work?
X-STATIC® is 99.9% pure silver fiber that is permanently bonded onto the surface of flexible polymers to create the yarn, making it permanent. Your sweat, combined with air, causes the silver in X-STATIC® to oxidize, drastically inhibiting the growth of bacteria that creates stink. The hotter and wetter the environment, the better it works.
 


Where does stink come from?
Technically speaking, sweat is virtually odourless. Naturally occurring bacteria in specific areas on your body consume the sweat, and their metabolic by-products are what creates odour.
