Following closely on from the launch of two new products MitoQ Heart and MitoQ Blood Sugar, the entrepreneurial Kiwi company MitoQ Ltd is now releasing MitoQ Liver, the latest product in their quiver of revolutionary health supplements.

MitoQ Liver is a ground-breaking formula featuring the unique patented MitoQ, which is proven to be 847 times more effective than CoQ10 at targeting liver mitochondria.

The liver is a hugely powerful and vital organ, responsible for producing over 1000 enzymes and performing over 500 different functions in its role of feeding and detoxifying the body. The liver purifies the blood, stores vital energy in the form of glycogen and produces bile which helps digest fats and dispose of waste.

Made up of millions of tiny cells called hepatocytes containing abundant mitochondria, the liver requires a constant supply of energy and oxygen to function properly. Mitochondria are the body’s cellular batteries; without healthy mitochondria our major organs are vulnerable to free radical damage and oxidative stress.

Scientists now know that mitochondrial dysfunction can be linked to a number of health issues.

MitoQ Liver has been specifically designed to target the liver’s mitochondria, helping to repair oxidative damage to hepatocytes and support healthy liver function and detoxification.

Alongside the MitoQ, this important new product also contains Siliphos Milk Thistle, selenium and choline, all essential liver support nutrients. Siliphos is proven to be 10 times more bioavailable than standard milk thistle extract.

Over the past decade a huge amount of investment (US$50 million) has gone into the research and development of MitoQ around the world. There are currently 200 published research papers on the compound’s potentially significant health and anti-ageing benefits.

Recently MitoQ was one of a small, exclusive group of compounds selected for the USA’s National Institute of Aging’s (NIA) Interventions Testing Programme (ITP) – an internationally renowned anti-aging research programme funded by the US Government.

The NIA is part of the US National Institute of Health which invests more than $30 billion per annum into health research that will potentially make an impact on human health on a global scale. MitoQ has been accepted into the research programme because it has ‘shown significant potential to delay or decelerate the aging process and improve general health’.

MitoQ’s selection into the ITP programme is a huge step forward and quite a coup for the Kiwi company recognising years of tireless work and commitment from the team in bringing these innovative products to the public arena.

MitoQ’s revolutionary science works by attaching a positive charge to CoQ10 – which is also the mitochondria’s own natural antioxidant. This small change causes positively-charged MitoQ to literally flood negatively-charged mitochondria, crossing the previously impenetrable outer membrane thus restoring antioxidant capacity to youthful levels.

Until now, no other product has ever been able to deliver CoQ10 to the body’s mitochondria in meaningful levels.  Other sources of CoQ10 are unable to infiltrate the mitochondria and thus make a tangible difference.

With obesity and related issues soaring in the western world due to poor diet and an increasingly sedentary lifestyle, incidents of liver related health issues  are rising at alarming rates. In conjunction with a healthy lifestyle, MitoQ Liver works to support optimal liver function and detoxification.

MitoQ Liver is now available for $84.95 online at mitoq.co.nz and at selected pharmacies New Zealand-wide.

Always read the label and use as directed. Supplementary to a balanced diet.
