One of the world’s most recognised technology brands is moving to Queenstown’s newest shopping and commercial centre to open a flagship facility.

Fuji Xerox New Zealand Limited is opening a large showroom, sales and service centre at The Landing, between Queenstown Interiors and Remarkable Physios.

The Landing is located in Queenstown’s established Frankton shopping area, close to Queenstown Airport and the large Remarkables Park retail centre.

Fuji Xerox New Zealand is part of the global Xerox and Fuji Film group of companies and currently employs over 800 employees in key locations throughout the country. The company is a world leader in leading-edge document processing technology and services.

FXNZ Managing Director Gavin Pollard said the company had outgrown its current Queenstown office and was looking for a new facility that would accommodate the growth they expect to see in the Queenstown region.

“We looked at a number of locations and The Landing was the premium area for us to make a big investment into the region,” he said.

“Queenstown is one of the parts of New Zealand that’s growing faster than anywhere else and we wanted to increase our brand presence, boost our sales force for the region, continue to support our current customers and seek new business opportunities.

“The Landing is an excellent location that’s central to the real growth area of Queenstown and enables us to have a much bigger site, about three or four times the square metres of our former office. That means we can display our large production equipment, our latest range of multifunction print devices and also the solutions and services capability that we now offer New Zealand businesses.

“Our goal is to work with more and more New Zealand businesses to provide innovative solutions maximising efficiency and driving down cost, so Queenstown is the perfect place to be.”

The Landing’s a bustling new centre consisting of 18 shops adjacent to Remarkables Park Town Centre’s 62 businesses, including New World supermarket. It has been designed with ample customer car parks with spacious green surrounds and relaxing gardens for al fresco dining, boasting panoramic views of The Remarkables mountain range.

Household names already well-established at The Landing include Repco, House of Travel and Super Liquor, and there’s a range of gift, furniture and homewares, and fashion stores, as well as a hairdresser, café, restaurant, bakery, butcher and Asian grocery.

The Landing is close to a large indoor recreation centre, walking and cycling track, the soon-to-open Ramada Hotel, an existing primary school and a relocated high school opening in the area at the beginning of 2018, and a weekly Remarkables market.

Shoppers as well as businesses are now coming from far and wide to experience the latest retail offering in Queenstown. Just two retail spaces remain at The Landing creating an opportunity for businesses to extend their reach, with optional floor layouts ranging in size from 79m2 to 194m2.
Fuji Xerox is scheduled to open at The Landing in late April.
