Just one week to go...it's so close you can almost smell it!

Food glorious food! Like bees to honey there’s only one more week to go until foodies flock to Westpac Stadium for The Wellington Food Show. From 20 – 22 May, ‘the cake tin’ will come alive with the latest and greatest food and drink offerings from New Zealand and around the world.
 
With over 100 different exhibitors and 14 live cooking demonstrations over three days, you’re bound to come away with full tummies, countless new ideas and a passion for a raft of new products to add to your shopping lists.
 
With the cooler months due to arrive any day now, Sunshine Coast Tourism has an offer on the door to warm up Wellingtonians; the chance to win a gourmet foodie escape with five nights for two in the Sunshine Coast worth $4,000! Every visitor through the door goes into the draw – and online ticket purchasers are automatically entered in the prize draw.
 
For those Wellingtonians who are in need of a little extra help this winter, The Wellington Food Show’s charity partner, the Wellington City Mission, will be launching its Brown Paper Bag Appeal at the show, where visitors can donate funds or food to the appeal. Keep an eye out for Mazda ute, which will been fashioned into a food-bank, to drop off spare cans or non-perishable foods on your way around the show.
 
Back-to-back cooking demos from some of New Zealand's top culinary talent are set inspire and delight audiences. Real food sensation Emma Galloway and Pacific superstar Robert Oliver headline the show with Simon Gault, Annabelle White, Ray McVinnie, Kyle Street andMartin Bosley also playing leading roles in the Whirlpool Cooking Theatre. All will share recipes and their hottest tips for recreating delicious meals in your own home.
