Shapeshifter announce 2016 NZ tour

After sparking a frenzy with their new single ‘Stars’, one of New Zealand’s most charismatic live acts Shapeshifter have just announced this morning that they’re taking their mind-blowing production on the road again for three epic nationwide shows this November.
 
Shapeshifter will be kicking things off in their original stomping ground Christchurch where they play the Thursday of Cup Week (10th November) at The Horncastle Arena, before heading to Shed 6 in Wellington on Friday 11th November and The Town Hall Auckland on Saturday 12 November. We’re also very excited to announce that Shapeshifter will be supported on all tour dates by budding local producer duo SACHI, as well as fusion masters Sunshine Sound System.
 
The young Auckland producing duo SACHI have been making waves here and abroad since the release of their breakthrough single ‘No More’. Their most recent track ‘Hold On’ was leaked by dance music tastemaker Diplo on his BBC Radio 1 show ‘Diplo and Friends’.
 
Long-time touring pals Sunshine Sound System know how to get a party started and keep it going all night. With their mash up sets and special guests, they’re the perfect accompaniment to a night out with Shapeshifter.
 
‘Stars’ is the first drop from Shapeshifter’s their highly anticipated new album which will see the band release further new music and media throughout 2016. The release of ‘Stars’ also coincides with the debut of Shapeshifter’s awesome new interactive website where fans can build their own remix of ‘Stars’ by manipulating the constellation on the web page.
