It's a 'winning streak' for Queenstown's Housemart at 2016 REINZ Awards

A Queenstown-based property management company is once again the ‘best of the best’ in New Zealand -- leading the way with innovative systems, technology, service and customer care.

Housemart beat off stiff competition from large franchises and independent offices from across New Zealand to once again romp home with the title of Small Residential Property Management Office of the Year.

The annual 2016 REINZ Awards for Excellence, run by the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, were held in Auckland to celebrate the top real estate people in the country.

The awards include honouring those in the residential property management, with a number of categories in the highly competitive market.

Renowned for its creative approach, the six-strong Housemart team is housed in a quirky ‘modern apartment’ office, demonstrating once again why the company is like no other.

Housemart director Hayley Stevenson said they were “extremely excited” to be presented with the Office of the Year Award for the fifth time, as well as multiple other awards over the years.

“Our team are thrilled with the back-to-back win and thank everyone involved for helping us exceed expectations,” she says

“We’d like to thank locals for their fantastic support, the owners and our fantastic clients who rent our homes, and of course the dedicated team of tradespeople who help us on a daily basis.”

Emphasising that any good business is only as good as its people, Housemart administrator Caroline Gibson came runner-up – for the second year - in the Support Person of the Year category.

“I’m so proud to be part of a winning team, and it’s an honour to be recognised for my role in the business. I’ll keep trying and maybe one day I’ll get the top spot!” she joked.

“Our growth has seen us recruit two fantastic new members of staff, and we continue to strive towards providing a fabulous service for our clients, and an enjoyable place for us to work.”
