How do you eat your Weet-Bix? With milk? Honey? or a bowlful of yoghurt? However you enjoy breakfast, make sure it’s with the new Weet-Bix All Black World Champion Collector Cards – the deliciously fun way to get a piece of All Black history and eat the breakfast of champions!

The one-off collection of Weet-Bix World Champion Collector Cards celebrates the legacy of the All Blacks’ record three world champion triumphs; 1987, 2011 and 2015. With a whopping 2.6 million cards made to meet demand of rugby-loving Kiwi kids, the collector cards will make breakfast time a hit, fuelling the whole family to tackle the day ahead.

Weet-Bix has been the breakfast of choice for Kiwi kids and their families for generations. Low in sugar and packed full of 97 per cent wholegrain goodness, Weet-Bix is also a great source of iron and B vitamins 1, 2 and 3 to help release the energy needed to kickstart your day, as part of a balanced diet. Warm it up, eat it cold, stack ‘em up or sit them side by side and spread with marmite or peanut butter - Weet-Bix is the breakfast of champions no matter how it’s served!

Kids will dive into breakfast  to check out the 24-player line-up of collector cards. The first team to be crowned world champions three times, the collection includes seven All Blacks captains, five All Blacks test centurions, four World Rugby Players of the Year and nine double world champions.

From current players Kieran Read, Aaron Smith, Nehe Milner-Skudder and Brodie Retallick, to 2011 Cup favourites Stephen “Beaver” Donald and Piri Weepu and legends of the 1987 team, Buck Shelford, Grant Fox, John Kirwan and Sean Fitzpatrick;  “Weet-Bix has powered me throughout my career and it’s the ultimate breakfast for any growing kid,” said Stephen Donald.

“Winning a world cup was a dream come true, and it's great to be back in black and alongside players like Buck, Ma’a and Kieran.”

Renowned All Blacks legend Buck Shelford agrees. “It’s a huge relief to finally get the call-up again after all these years! And it’s obviously an incredible honour to be included in this selection alongside so many great past, present and future All Blacks stars.”

“Every All Black who has worn the ‘black jersey’ has demonstrated the greatest possible strength, power and pride, cementing the All Blacks as one of the world’s most dominant rugby teams,” says Sanitarium’s executive general manager Pierre van Heerden.

“It was an incredibly tough job, but we have selected 24 former, current and future All Black stars from our 1987, 2011 and 2015 world champion teams to honour the All Blacks’ legacy, which has stood strong and proud for 130 years.”

Players featured on the cards include; David Kirk, Michael Jones, Wayne Shelford, Sean Fitzpatrick, John Kirwan, Grant Fox, Stephen Donald, Piri Weepu, Keven Mealamu, Ma'a Nonu, Conrad Smith, Tony Woodcock, Dan Carter, Richie McCaw, Kieran Read, Sam Whitelock, Jerome Kaino, Brodie Retallick, Beauden Barrett, Dane Coles, Sam Cane, Julian Savea, Aaron Smith, Nehe Milner-Skudder.
