Kiwi Breakfast Icon Named New Zealand's Most Trusted

Whether it’s Weet-Bix and hot milk, Marmite on toast or a bowlful of Honey Puffs - one thing’s remained the same and that’s Sanitarium’s place at Kiwi breakfast tables for generations.

And now Kiwis have said ‘thank you’ to the company which created some of our best known, and best loved foods, by crowning Sanitarium the most trusted breakfast food brand in a recent survey.

Despite it’s humble beginnings more than a century ago, Sanitarium now produces not only our most favoured breakfast foods, but soy milks, yummy spreads and healthy vegetarian options!

And the good news just keeps coming from the company which dreamed up many of the wholesome breakfasts we grew up on.

Realising that healthy nutrition is just part of the equation the team at Sanitarium were inspired to create an event which would have kids throwing down the remote before you could say Weet-Bix TRYathlon!

Now in its 25th year the Weet-Bix TRYathlon sees more than 20,000 kids from around the country bike, run and swim in the world’s largest under 16 triathlon series!

Executive general manager Pierre van Heerden says the company’s commitment to providing New Zealanders with nutritious food has been rewarded with their continued loyalty generation after generation.

“We are proud to have been recognised with this award which shows clearly that New Zealand families know, trust and enjoy our products, ” he says.

The recent award was part of an independent survey commissioned by Reader’s Digest which surveyed more than 1200 Kiwi adults on their perception of the most trusted brands.
