ASB Auckland Marathon hooks John West as new sponsor

Leading seafood brand John West New Zealand has joined as a sponsor of the ASB Auckland Marathon.
 
John West which offers a range of healthy and nutritious tuna and salmon products to Kiwi families, will be the naming rights sponsor of the John West 12k Traverse which is part of the group of races, including the ASB Auckland Marathon and Barfoot & Thompson Half Marathon, to be held on Sunday 30 October 2016.
 
John West wants to encourage New Zealanders to have fit and healthy lifestyles and is keen to promote the goal of more people becoming active.
 
“John West is delighted to partner with the ASB Auckland Marathon as the sponsor of the 12k Traverse event. John West will be launching an important- initiative at the event along with a tasty new product range.
 
The ASB Auckland Marathon, which dates back to 1936, attracted more than 11,000 participants last year. The traditional 10km event was extended to 12km last year, starting from Smales Farm and includes the traverse of the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
 
Entries are now open for the 2016 ASB Auckland Marathon offering the ASB Auckland Marathon, the Barfoot & Thompson Half Marathon, the John West 12k Traverse, Heart Foundation 5k Challenge and the Kids Marathon.
