Free with all October Sale 2017 Season Pass purchases

Snow sport lovers can enjoy two weeks of free skiing at Turoa, when they buy a 2017 season pass by 31st October.

Turoa’s winter operational season ended on Monday 24th October, but due to the great snow conditions on the upper mountain, Snovember has been brought back until 6th November.

“We’ve had a series of large powder dumps throughout the season creating the opportunity to enjoy Snovember at Turoa for an extra two weeks,” says Dave Mazey, CEO of RAL.

“Turoa still has a wide variety of intermediate and advanced trails open, including the High-noon Express and the Terrain Park.

For all 2016 season pass holders, admission for the extended season will be a one-off payment of $20, with all 2017 Season Pass holders skiing for free. Day passes start at $29 for a Youth pass and $49 for an Adult, offering a great rate for keen skiiers and boarders.

For October only, Adult Season Passes will cost $465, a saving of $50 on the 1 April 2016 price. A Youth Pass, currently $279, will save those aged five to eighteen years $30.

A Child Pass (with an accompanying Adult Season Pass purchase or Life Pass) costs $55 in October, with infants (0-4 years) and Super Super (70+ years) free of charge.

“Now’s the time to purchase your 2017 Season Pass to make the most out of the great spring conditions,” says Mazey.

Whakapapa Ski Area concluded the ski season on Monday as scheduled (24th October) and is now open for sightseeing chairlift rides, and dining at NZ’s highest café – the Knoll Ridge cafe.
