There is something for everyone at NZ’s premier motorhome and caravan show next month, including some impressive prizes.

The North Island Camper Care NZ Motorhome & Caravan Show is being held again this year at Claudelands Event Centre in Hamilton from Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th March.

This year one lucky person will take away a $150,000 prize to go towards their own motorhome or caravan and every day there is a chance to win a seven day luxury Kea Motorhome holiday with accommodation at Family Parks Holiday Parks around NZ.

The show, which is in its 8th year, caters for a wide range of holidaymakers and families with a wide range of exhibitors showcasing their latest and greatest motorhome and caravan products, accessories and services.  There is also a range of fun and interesting activities to provide information and ideas about how to make the most of your holiday.  Many of the exhibitors use the show to release new technology and provide some great offers – there is no better place to talk to the experts, check out the latest products and innovations and compare the latest models, all under one roof.

Back due to popular demand is the Leisureline Kiwi Ingenuity Area – a space dedicated to those interested in DIY and upgrading their pre-loved caravan or motorhome.  Event Director Michele Connell says many people are looking at ways they can improve and add value to their motorhomes and caravans.  “This is the perfect way to get ideas and find out how to improve your own caravan or motorhome to make your adventure that extra bit more comfortable.”

There is also the ‘Destinations Area’ – a space dedicated to showcase some new and exciting places, holiday parks and events to visit around Aotearoa.

“This year there is something for every member of the family as that’s what holidays are about – ensuring everyone has a good time.  There is even a cooking section to help you cook up a storm while you are away,” said Ms Connell.

Again in 2012, the NZ Motorhome and Caravan Association are organising a rally at the grounds so motorhomes can park up to enjoy the show over the weekend and socialise.   “The rally is a great way to meet like-minded motorhome and caravan enthusiasts and find out about their experiences and adventures,” she said.

To enter the show an adult ticket is $15 with children under 16 free.  A Liberty (unlimited access) pass is $20.  Tickets are available at the door.  The show opens from 9am-5pm on the Friday/Saturday and 10am-4pm on the Sunday.  More information can be found at www.nzmotorhomeshow.co.nz
