Air Tahiti Nui is taking the chill out of winter with a sizzling airfare and tempting Tahiti packages to lure New Zealanders to the South Pacific this year.

On sale now until July 1, the airline is offering a special winter fare from Auckland to Papeete priced from $915* return in Economy Class.

Air Tahiti Nui General Manager New Zealand Australia Mark Hutchinson said winter was a popular time to plan a tropical escape.

“About this time of year New Zealanders tend to look for somewhere warm to escape to and we hope the prospect of defrosting in an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora or Moorea is just what they need to survive the cooler months,” Mr Hutchinson said.

Air Tahiti Nui has partnered with House of Travel to offer three great value packages incorporating the special winter fare, on sale until July 8:

• Spend seven nights at Manava Suite Resort Tahiti in a garden studio including return economy airfares with Air Tahiti Nui, airport transfers and a half day Tahiti Island tour from $1799** per person twin share

• Spend five nights at the InterContinental Resort Moorea including return economy airfares with Air Tahiti Nui, transfers throughout, breakfast daily, and pre and post accommodation at the InterContinental Resort Tahiti, priced from $2069*** per person twin share. Upgrade to an overwater villa for $585 per person.

• Spend five nights at the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort and Spa in a garden villa including return economy airfares with Air Tahiti Nui, transfers throughout, breakfast daily, and pre and post accommodation at Manava Suite Resort Tahiti, priced from $3699*** per person twin share.
