In a year that will go down as the one of the most successful ever for New Zealand music, SOL3 MIO have surpassed the pack to become the biggest selling act domestically for 2013.

Releasing their debut self-titled album on November 15, the three classically trained Opera singers have already sold more albums in NZ than any other local act this year, including Lorde, Dennis Marsh and Fat Freddy’s Drop.

SOL3 MIO have garnered a devoted fan base throughout New Zealand with their irrepressible humour and musical ability, charming audiences wherever they go. The trio have also lent their talents to a worthwhile cause, recording a song for the recently released Starship Christmas Album.

·         SOL3 MIO is certified Triple Platinum, having been released less than one month ago.

·         The album was certified Gold in its first week of release, Platinum in its 2nd, Double Platinum in its 3rd, and Triple Platinum in its 4th.

·         SOL3 MIO debuted at #1 on the Official NZ Music Charts, and has remained there for 3 weeks, holding off new releases from the likes of One Direction and Susan Boyle.

·         Sales per week have increased every week since release.

·         A much anticipated National Tour has been announced for March and April 2014.

Made up of two tenor brothers, Pene and Amitai Pati from Mangere, and their North Shore baritone cousin Moses Mackay, SOL3 MIO is the combination of three powerful and moving operatic voices, with a more than a dash of uncontainable Samoan humour.

"The sound and the personality go together. That's unmistakable when you hear that"
                  - Dennis O'Neill (Director, Wales International Academy of Voice)

"We're very grateful, humbled and taken back by the support people have shown us. It has been an incredible journey and funnily enough, it's only just beginning."     - Moses Mackay (Sol3 Mio)
