Meet the women of the New Zealand Olympic Winter Team who will be competing in Sochi, Russia from 7 – 23 February 2014. These eight ladies are part of a fifteen strong team and will represent New Zealand in the adrenaline-filled sports of freeski, snowboard and skeleton. Today we feature Anna Willcox-Silfverberg.

Discipline: Freeski slopestyle
About: Remarkably, Anna only begun competing in the sport of freeski slopestyle three years ago. Although she had been skiing with her family since the age of four it wasn’t until she finished school and began dedicating full seasons to the sport that she discovered her true passion. Since then, she’s been working hard to make up for the years she missed and is proving to the world that it is never too late to follow your dream! Anna will represent New Zealand in Sochi and is currently ranked ninth in the world for women’s freeski slopestyle.
