Partners Life DUAL Motutapu-Rangitoto Traverse

The Partners Life DUAL is a trail run, walk, mountain bike and off-road triathlon event on one of the most scenic landscapes in New Zealand, the Hauraki Gulf Islands of Motutapu and Rangitoto.

Seven event options to cater for all ages, abilities and fitness levels.

The event, now in its sixth year, supports the work of the Motutapu Restoration Trust, raising funds for ongoing conservation efforts on the Island.  It’s the only multisport event in the world that takes place within an island pest free sanctuary and is undoubtedly one of the country’s premier multisport events.

All courses take you over incredible trails and farm land adventures whilst being surrounded by spectacular views over Auckland City and the Hauraki Gulf.

The event is perfectly set up for groups of friends or families with shorter distance walk/run events and onsite childcare set up on the island, this must be booked prior to the event, enabling couples or single parents the opportunity to get a little exercise.  It’s the perfect day out for the whole family.

Once you’ve finished your event there is a concert to be enjoyed at picturesque Home Bay featuring Boh Runga, which is free for all participants with wonderful food and cold beverages available for purchase.  When you’re ready to head home you’ll be able to jump on one of the return ferries from Home Bay to Auckland City via Devonport.
