Bakers Delight bakeries throughout New Zealand are turning pink next month in the hope of raising hundreds and thousands for women with cancer.

In a special week-long campaign (6 – 12 May) Bakers Delight bakeries will donate $1 from every pink finger bun sold to Look Good Feel Better, a free national service that supports women being treated for all types of cancer and helps them feel better by looking good.

At special makeover workshops held throughout New Zealand, appearance and makeup experts donate their time and skills to give women guidance on their appearance. They not only get a brand new look, but learn how to recreate it themselves at home also.

Proceeds form Bakers Delight’s pink bun campaign will go directly towards funding these workshops.

Yvonne Brownlie, general manager of Look Good Feel Better, is thrilled Bakers Delight is raising dough for the charity.

“We’re delighted Bakers Delight has chosen Look Good Feel Better to benefit from their pink bun campaign. Thanks to the generous support of Bakers Delight staff and customers, the funds raised will help thousands of Kiwi women feel better during a really testing time in their lives.”

Bakers Delight has 21 Auckland and five Christchurch stores, as well as bakeries in Hamilton, Hastings, Tauranga, Mt Maunganui, Rotorua and Taupo.
