Responding to the thousands of fan requests since their first ever live shows, award-winning Kiwi opera trio Sol3 Mio will release their first live concert DVD on November 14.

Filmed at Wellington’s iconic Michael Fowler Centre in late September 2014, Ladies And Gentleman… Sol3 Mio Live In Concert captures all the magic of the group’s amazing live show - the emotion, the humour and the wonder of those three incredible voices.

The DVD features 22 live songs performed by the trio, including operatic classics like ‘La Danza’ and ‘Au fond du temple saint (The Pearl Fishers' Duet)’, as well as crowd favourites ‘Ten Guitars’, ‘Yellow Bird’ and ‘O’ Sole Mio’.

The deluxe edition of the live concert DVD will come with an 8-page booklet as well as a 12-track live CD.

A special international version of Sol3 Mio’s self-titled debut album will also be released the same day. This updated CD features 4 new songs recorded for Decca Records in the UK -  ‘Amazing Grace’, ‘Nella Fantasia’, ‘World In Union’ and ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.

In stores a week later on November 21th will be the Blu-ray version of the concert film and The Complete Sol3 Mio Collection (pictured above). This super deluxe limited edition package is the ultimate Christmas gift for all Sol3 Mio fans –  and includes the live concert DVD, the 12-track live CD, the new international version of the debut album, a 12-page booklet and a copy of SOL3 MIO – Our Story, the group’s new book published by Penguin Publishing.

November 2013 saw Sol3 Mio release their self-titled debut album. The album debuted at #1 on the NZ album chart and held the top spot for 16 weeks, becoming the highest selling album in NZ for 2013 and going 6 x platinum in the process. Brothers Amitai and Pene Pati and cousin Moses Mackay then completed an extensive nationwide tour of New Zealand, playing to over 40,000 Kiwis in early 2014.

Having been awarded the Pacific Music Award Tui earlier this year, and with nominations for Album Of The Year and Best Group amongst the four they have garnered in the 2014 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, the trio has undoubtedly already captured the attention and hearts of their homeland and, with international success and commitments beckoning, the world is taking notice too.
