Acclaimed Soul singer Aaradhna is set to play to a full house in the Apollo Music Café at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York on January 9. Upon announcing the show in December, tickets have been ravenously picked up, resulting Aaradhna being the first New Zealander in history to sell out a show at the iconic venue. The venue has played host to many seminal artists including James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson to name a few, and is widely regarded as the home of  Soul Music.

This is the start of a big year for Aaradhna, as she prepares for the release of her new record Under The Blue Moon in the United States, followed by a worldwide tour in 2015. Working on the new album with Brooklyn based producers Truth & Soul Records (Aloe Blacc, Adele, Amy Winehouse), Aaradhna is looking to raise the benchmark even further than the universally acclaimed release of the previous album, Treble & Reverb.

Aaradhna's Treble & Reverb hit #1 in the NZ RIANZ Chart and landed her two New Zealand Music Awards for “Album Of The Year” and “Best Female Solo Artist” in 2013. The album also peaked at #23 on the US R&B / Soul Charts before she was signed to Republic Records NY in Dec 2012.
