Sexy in the city: Aucklanders revealed as New Zealand's sexiest citizens

A study of 20,500 New Zealanders has revealed that singles in the Greater Auckland region are the most likely to see themselves as attractive.

The study, which was commissioned by dating site EliteSingles, looked at anonymous user data to see how Kiwi singles rate themselves on the ‘sexy’ scale. The results revealed that Aucklanders are the group most likely to label themselves sexy, with Christchurch and then Tauranga rounding out the top three.

The study also showed that a number of NZ’s sexiest spots are in the North Island. In fact, eight out of the ten top placings went to North Island areas, with just two South Island areas – Christchurch and Dunedin - making the cut. It truly is hotter up north!
