Globus Lets the Champagne Flow with New 2016 Europe Brochure

Globus has popped the cork on its 2016 collection of European holidays, introducing new tours across the continent and a string of new unforgettable experiences – including a peek into the cellars of one of the finest Champagne houses in France. 
 
From now until December 1, 2015, Globus is offering earlybird savings of 10 per cent* on all Globus Europe 2016 holidays, allowing savings of up to NZ$2109 per couple. Further savings are available for booking a second tour and for repeat travellers from the Globus Journeys Club.
 
The new range of Globus 2016 Europe holidays includes dozens of ‘Local Favourites’ – special experiences that take guests behind the scenes for an insight into a region’s traditions and culture.
 
Among them is a new Champagne excursion that allows guests to explore the labyrinth cellars of the famous Pommery Champagne house in France, including a tasting session marked with a flourish by a sabrage – the ceremonial opening of a bottle using a sword.
 
The Champagne experience is included in one of seven new tours introduced in the Globus 2016 Europe program, the nine-day Paris, Champagne & the French Countryside.  Beginning with two nights in Paris, it travels through the heart of the Champagne region to Reims and onward to destinations including Strasbourg, Beaune, Lyon, Avignon and Marseilles (from NZ$2627* per person twin share including 10 per cent discount).

Other new tours include the seven-day London & Country, a focus on the British capital with excursions to some of the most celebrated parts of England including Bath, Stonehenge, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avalon and the Cotswolds (from NZ$2474* per person twin share inc discount).
 
In Italy, Globus has introduced the seven-day Splendors of Italy, a week based in Milan with travel by high-speed rail to Florence and Venice as well as an excursion to Turin (from NZ$2474 per person twin share inc discount).
 
Globus has also added to its choice of sailing holidays with the 10-day Dubrovnik & Adriatic Odyssey which includes seven nights aboard a modern three-masted yacht. Beginning in Dubrovnik, it sails the Adriatic to Korcula, Montenegro and Greece (from NZ$5440* per person twin share inc discount).
 
In addition to its 10 per cent* early booking discount, Globus is offering a five per cent* discount on second tours when booked at the same time. Plus, Journeys Club members receive a five per cent discount as Globus repeat travellers.
