Countdown has today launched the limited edition Feed Four for $15 Cookbook featuring a range of value meal ideas for New Zealanders.

The cookbook is a collection of the 90 most popular Feed Four for $15* recipes, making great food easy and affordable to everyone, every day.

Countdown’s General Manager of Marketing, Bridget Lamont, says preparing a delicious meal can be a daunting task for many. Whether you’re a time-poor parent, hardworking professional, or university student, a busy schedule leaves little time or money for delicious and nutritious meals.

“At Countdown we love food and the cookbook is a great way for people to discover new flavours and dishes, as often we get into a routine and have a habit of making the same dishes we know work.

“Our customers have been asking for a cookbook since the launch of our great value meal ideas in 2013, so we’re excited we’ve finally been able to bring this to our customers,” says Lamont.

The cookbook provides great value meal ideas designed to be easy to prepare and make the most of Countdown’s selection of ingredients. Recipes included in the cookbook range from Thai Beef Salad, Slow-cooked Country Chicken to Fish Parcels, Mediterranean Halloumi Bake and Banoffee Cream Pots.

“This cookbook has something for everyone, whether you are budget conscious or simply looking for inspiration to jazz up your everyday meals.

“Cooking is something that brings people together and sharing food is one of life’s simplest pleasures, so it’s great to be able to launch this cookbook in time for the festive season,” says Lamont.

The cookbook is an excellent gift idea for busy parents, students and anyone looking for balanced meals to expand their recipe base.

The limited edition Feed Four for $15 Cookbook is available now in Countdown stores nationwide for RRP $15.00 each, while stocks last.
