Me-Mover has launched their latest innovative design of their three-wheeled step-driven fitness machine that offers a high-intensity and low-impact, full-body, indoor and outdoor workout.  Me-Mover FIT has launched on Kickstarter, the global fundraising platform, to raise US$100,000 investment within 30 days to support its production.  Me-Mover FIT gives people the opportunity to take their gym outdoors, making the whole city their playground.

To enable a bespoke fitness experience, Me-Mover have introduced two new add-ons:
  • The home trainer lets users transform their Me-Mover into a stationary training device for great indoor exercise.
  • The variable resistance trainer will allow users to set the exact effort level they want, by changing the Me-Mover FIT’s rolling resistance.  They can now enjoy a high-intensity workout at slower speeds, effectively simulating a hill climb, or just matching their speed with their training buddies [works indoors and outdoors].

The ergonomic stepping motion and unique carving ability of Me-Mover Fit activate 6 of 8 major muscle groups and constantly strengthen the stabilizer muscles.  Taking just minutes to learn and fall in love with, the Me-Mover FIT is extremely stable and manoeuvrable, as well as compact and easy to transport and store, making it ideal for use in busy cities.  Me-Mover FIT is also perfect for any fitness levels and can be operated at walking, jogging or biking speed (up to 40 km/hour).  It will tempt all fitness enthusiasts including walkers, runners, cyclists and skiers especially as the high intensity cardio workout offers 40-60% greater caloric burn than cycling and has a low impact on joints (avoiding knee, ankle and back problems).  Jonas Eliasson, CEO and founder of Me-Mover, explains: "The Me-Mover Fit has been ergonomically designed to deliver natural, balanced and fluid movement which offers the user the same fitness benefits as running, without the danger of injury through joint impact or back, knee or ankle strain.”

This is the second time Me-Mover has raised investment via Kickstarter.  In 2014, Me-Mover raised over $301,551 from 366 backers which were shipped to more than 30 countries including UK, South Africa, Brazil, Japan, Australia, USA (even Alaska), Singapore, Dubai Hong Kong and more.  Jonas Eliasson, CEO and founder of Me-Mover says: “Our first Me-Movers took five years to build, and four days to sell out the first time we raised. Ever since launch, buyers are so excited by what the Me-Mover offers, they're offering their own add-ons, designed on their kitchen tables. Customers in Asia are telling us they love how compact the Me-Mover is, since parking is their big obstacle to being active and mobile. Folks in the US rave about being able to take it anywhere, and they are full of ideas for accessories. We listened to them and hope our new and updated model Me-Mover FIT will attract the same level of enthusiasm."

Compared to the original version, the Me-Mover FIT features important technology enhancements, including a highly optimised and improved transmission with lower resistance and faster acceleration.  The Me-Mover engineers have increased the range of the pedal stroke on the FIT, with a lower gear ratio at the top of the stroke and a higher gear ratio at the bottom. These new ergonomics offer the rider a vastly better driving feel.

Improvements also extend to cushioned foot straps for a more comfortable ride and multiple grip handlebars so users can switch up their workout and strengthen targeted muscles.  Perfectly mobile and portable, Me-Mover FIT has an in-built carry strap and bottle holder.  A triumph of compact design and agile steering, Me-Mover FIT can glide around obstacles and safely navigate in crowds.  Even if you’re lacking in storage space, it folds to take up just 46 x 129 x 53 cm.
