This Saturday 5 March, five libraries in the Hutt Valley are hosting free TEDxWellington livestream screenings open to the public.

"TEDxWellington sold out in two minutes this year and we're pleased to offer people in the wider Wellington region the opportunity to watch this unique event for free," said Hutt City Libraries Manager Sandra Mann.

The full-day event brings together 12 inspiring talks from locals in the Wellington region with an idea worth spreading. The talks run from approximately 11am-12.30pm, 1.30-3pm, 4-5.45pm.

People are welcome to drop in for a few minutes or spend the whole day watching at the following venues: Hutt City Libraries at War Memorial Library, Eastbourne Library, Wainuiomata Library, Naenae Library and the Walter Nash Centre's Taita Library.

This is the fourth TEDxWellington event following three previous sold out events. Facebook events for each library can be found here.

TEDxWellington is sponsored by Hutt City Libraries.
