New Release from Kiko Bun 'Sticky Situation' On Universal Music New Zealand

‘Sticky Situation’ is the first release from recent Island Records signing and North-West-London-based songwriter and producer,  Kiko Bun.

Growing up obsessed with reggae and hip hop, Kiko Bun immersed himself quickly into the capital’s ever-thriving subculture of musicians, MCs and DJs. A stint sorting out the reggae section in Islington second-hand vinyl goldmine Flashback Records, while continually producing demos, led to ‘Where I’m From’ and also sparked an extraordinary level of online interest.

Growing up in London, he formed a part of its cultural and musical melting pot, and this is something that is clear in his songs. Referencing a number of genres, the one clear thread throughout is his unbelievable vocal delivery, distinctive and emotive. Given that he has a warm, funny and disarming personality, this rounds him off as one of Island Records most exciting new artist propositions – the full package.
