Today, Capitol Records release Rise Remixes, which features three striking new versions of global icon Katy Perry’s anthemic new hit single, ‘Rise.’ Now available everywhere, the collection includes remixes by French musician/producer/composer Monsieur Adi, who has created official remixes for such artists as Beyoncé, Ellie Goulding, Lana Del Rey and Bastille, Purity Ring, a Canadian duo that has released two albums and remixed Lady Gaga’s ‘Applause’ and Health’s ‘Life,’ and up-and-coming U.K. artist/producer TĀLĀ.

In mid-July, Katy surprised the world with ‘Rise,’ which immediately shot straight to No. 1 on iTunes in 56 countries. It was the No. 1 worldwide trending topic on Twitter upon release and has held strong. A powerful message of hope, an anthem of conviction, perseverance, and transformation, the track entered Billboard’s Digital Songs chart at No. 1, becoming her 11th Digital Songs chart-topper. More than 200 U.S. Top 40 and Hot AC stations have already added ‘Rise’ and it is at 40 million in audience and growing.

The official video for ‘Rise,’ which can be seen HERE on VEVO, already has more than 37 million views. Directed by Paul Gore (John Legend, Massive Attack, Amy Winehouse), it finds Katy on a solitary journey, traversing the stunning red sandstone formations of Utah’s Snow Canyon and Sand Hollow State Parks.

Katy Perry’s cumulative streams now exceed 10 billion worldwide and she is the most-followed person globally on Twitter. Katy made her Capitol Records debut with 2008’s One of the Boys and cemented her status as a global superstar with the follow-up album, Teenage Dream (2010). PRISM, her most recent album, debuted at No. 1 on iTunes in 100 countries and has sold more than 11 million adjusted albums worldwide. With the singles ‘Firework’ and ‘Dark Horse’ each surpassing the 10 million threshold including song sales and streams, Katy is the first female artist to earn two RIAA Digital Single Diamond Awards. She played to a total of two million people on the sold-out, 151-date Prismatic World Tour and headlined the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show, which set a record as the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show ever.
