Justine's Cookies, formerly known as The Protein Bakery, have created a brownie that is healthy - the first of its kind in New Zealand.

Justine Muollo, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and recipient of the 2002 Best Global Grocery Product at the Sial D’Or Paris, has created yet another product to fill a gap in the Health Food market.

The 80g Double Chocolate Dream Brownie, has no added sugar, wheat & gluten free, low carb and high fibre is the first Protein Brownie to be launched in New Zealand. It is diabetes friendly and suitable for Celiacs.

Fresh baked in a HACCP certified factory in Ngauranga Gorge, the brownie is already very popular with taste buds in New Zealand and Australia.

"I saw a gap in the market, diabetes was on the increase, like wheat and gluten intolerance and I thought, wouldn't it be great to do a nice wheat and gluten free brownie that was also really low in carbohydrate?."
- Justine Muollo, CEO & Founder of Justine's Cookies

The brownie is not yet available in stores but can be purchased through the Justine's website. A box of 12 brownies can be purchased for $49.99 and has a RRP of $3.99 per 80g brownie. Justine's Cookies can be found in your local supermarket, convenience store or health food store.
