Rugby League World Cup 2017 (RLWC2017) is pleased to announce Hertz as the Official Car Rental Partner for the tournament in Australia and New Zealand.

As an Official Partner of the RLWC2017, Hertz will receive key integration via the tournament's digital and social media channels, and have its support for the tournament acknowledged across a variety of assets. 

Hertz and RLWC2017 will also engage in mutually beneficial supporter promotions involving exclusive offers for fans and tournament ticket holders.

Hertz will also provide transport vehicles for all participating teams, match officials and corporate staff in the lead up and during both the men’s and women’s Rugby League World Cups.

The RLWC2017 will be contested from 27 October to 2 December 2017 and features 14 nations, playing 28 games, in 13 cities across three countries.  Australia and New Zealand will co-host the tournament, with three pool games in Papua New Guinea.  

The RLWC2017 will be the biggest sporting event in the region in 2017, with an estimated 450,000 fans to attend the tournament.

The first ever standalone Women’s Rugby League World Cup will feature six nations and be contested in Sydney from 16 – 26 November 2017, with the final to be played as a double-header with the men’s decider at Brisbane Stadium on 2 December 2017.
