Always enter a room with a smile. Not only does it relax you and put you in a happy mood, it also sends out a positive image to everyone in the room.

Mineral water is your best friend...It keeps your head clear, contains zero calories and its still full of bubbles! A 120ml glass of champagne has 91 calories; 2 glasses of champagne = a 1/2 hour run on the treadmill. Water never goes out of style. 

Be selective. Life is not about denying yourself the opportunity to enjoy good food and good times but you don't have to attend every party you're invited to and stay until the end. Embrace JOMO - you may be pleasantly surprised in how enjoyable simplifying your life can be. 

Exercise, exercise, exercise! Don't let all your hard work during the year go to waste. It’s easy to let the exercise slip during this busy time of the year, however moving more could help counter the extra kilojoules you are likely to consume…. after all it’s all about the debits and credits!

If it’s a BYO affair, bring a healthy share plate with you – its always easier to eat well when you know there will be some kickass homemade tzatziki dip on the table.

Don’t go to any party hungry - you are more likely to overindulge. Pack something healthy to take with you, like a snack bar, cookie, some protein balls, a shake or pudding from Slim Secrets' range.
