ORICA-GreenEDGE Riders Join River & Ranges Winery Ride

We are proud to announce that Simon Gerrans, Stuart O’Grady, Simon Clarke, Allan Davis, Luke Durbridge, Baden Cooke, Mitch Docker, Michael Hepburn, Leigh Howard, Cameron Meyer, Travis Meyer and Wesley Sulzberger will participate in the River & Ranges Winery Ride in the beautiful Nagambie winery region.

The Australian contingent will be joined by Belgian Jens Mouris, Swiss Michael Albasini and New Zealander Sam Bewley. Michael Matthews, new signing for ORICA-GreenEDGE in 2013, will also be in attendance.

Robbie McEwen will also be along for the ride, joined by Eddie McGuire, who has agreed to take on the continued challenge from his jaunt on the Champ Elysees in Paris with Robbie at the TDF this year.

The Winery Ride on Sunday 25 November 2012 represents one of only two opportunities this year for the public to participate in an organised ride in Australia with the team.

The inaugural River & Ranges Winery Ride offers something for the recreational cyclist and competitive cyclists along with their families. The day features a 60 kilometre flat course as well as a 150 kilometre hilly route with a Category 2 climb through the beautiful Strathbogie ranges.

Those interested in wine over wheels will enjoy gourmet local food and wine shared in a cycling village setting.

Free music and free children's activity provide additional entertainment opportunities. Kids will love the jumping castle, farm animals, face painting and other family-friendly activities. Entrance to this bustling festival is free.
