Hawkes Bay Pizza Company has Fastest Delivery in Australasia

Its official Hawkes Bay pizza lovers get their pizza faster than anywhere else in the country according to the statistics for a local pizza store.

Greenmeadows Domino’s has won an Australasian award for the third year in a row beating out the competition to take the award for delivering the most pizzas within a 30 minute time frame.

The EDT or (Estimated Delivery Time) Champion Award for delivering pizza within a half hour time frame and the Tom S Monaghan ‘Nobody Delivers Better’ Award, went to Greenmeadows Franchisee Owner, Brad Johnston.

This is the third year in a row that the Greenmeadows store has beaten all other Domino’s stores in Australia and New Zealand to win the EDT award, in recognition of the store’s standout delivery service performance.

The popular Hawkes Bay store having achieved an average EDT percentage of 99.6% over last year, completing 10,941 deliveries within 30 minutes out of 10,982 deliveries in total.

Greenmeadows Franchise Owner, Brad Johnston, says being honoured with the EDT Champion Award is testament to the great team work at the Greenmeadows Domino’s store.

“Our team is led by managers that really care about our customers and staff. As a result we have an excellent store culture and a group of highly efficient, enthusiastic people that all get along and support each other,” says Johnston.

Domino’s General Manager New Zealand Scott Bush, says that Greenmeadows’ win of the Tom S Monaghan ‘Nobody Delivers Better’ award is also testament to the team efforts and a work ethic that proves the store’s strength year on year.

With outstanding service results of 95.3% Delivery Service, 99.6% EDT Service and 97.4% Pickup Service for the year of 2013, Brad’s drive to deliver great pizza on time – every time, also delivers year on year sales growth,” says Bush.

The Domino’s awards, which were held in Melbourne celebrate the efforts of Domino’s employees, bolstering team morale and recognising team members who consistently reach extraordinary sales and operational performance while motivating others to reach the same level.
