GONE GIRL Premiere – Red carpet hair how to by JOICO

First spotted in Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines music video, Emily Ratajkowski’s scored a major film role in the newly released Gone Girl alongside Ben Affleck. Ratajkowski turned to celebrity stylist Anh Co Tran and Joico hair products, to create her sultry, sexy waves for the New York premier.

“Her red gown was gorgeous and showed a lot of skin, so we opted for a loose hairstyle with a lot of volume and  movement, to prevent her overall look from being too formal,” says Tran.

Get the look:
1. Apply Joico Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo to damp hair and roughly dry.
2. Apply Joico Texture Boost Dry Spray Wax at the roots while directing roots upward with hair dryer to create volume and support.
3. Divide hair into vertical sections and mist each section with NEW Joico Iron Clad Thermal Protectant Spray.
4. Begin from bottom sections inserting a one-inch Marcel iron on a diagonal at the root, and curling the hair while misting each section with Iron Clad, and alternating the direction of the curls—forward and backward—for a natural-looking wave pattern.
5. In the top sections switch to a larger iron for a looser wave leaving out the ends
6. Gently smooth and flick the ends upward with a curling iron.
7. Mist both top and bottom sections with NEW Joico Flip Turn Volumizing Finishing Spray for long-lasting volume and hold while gently backcombing each section and blend curls with fingers.
8. Finally, mist with Joico Humidity Blocker to repel frizz and flyaways.
