Enchantment encapsulated in a bottle!

With this totally new composition, the fourth in the collection, Valeur Absolue continues its quest for happiness.  This new creation remains faithful to the brand’s values: the highest quality raw materials, chosen as much for their olfactory qualities as for their soothing properties; bold combinations; semi-precious stones; active minerals.  Without forgetting, of course, extract of Immortelle which is included in each of the perfumes and stimulates the release of beta-endorphins, synonymous with well-being.

Launching a new brand of perfumes in an ultra-saturated and unadventurous market was a bold move.  But one that Bénédicte Foucart, President of Valeur Absolue, was prepared to take!  She was convinced that there was a place for a fresh approach with original and sensual creations, which would enhance the emotions that women aspire to and offer them deliciously fragranced moments of well-being.

Following the brand’s launch, which far exceeded expectations (the fragrances have already proved to be a reliable and safe choice within fine fragrances in different international markets), Valeur Absolue is now introducing a new addition, Sérénitude.  Epitomising radiant happiness, serenity and tranquillity, it certainly represents a good omen for the brand.

An assured olfactory style

Although she describes it as a floral, woody, spicy composition, Marie-Aude Bluche, Fragrance Development Director, begins by mentioning pink peppercorn, which, right from the start, leads other spices in its wake: cardamom, nutmeg and coriander.  These are not classic top notes, but more a long-lasting characteristic, which immediately conveys a radiance, to which women of today aspire.  A brand that evokes radiance, Valeur Absolue wants to make women smile and has opted for this collective theme which defines it so perfectly.  And from this follows the personality of each of its fragrances, which are composed in a traditional and time-honoured way.
 
Stones and emotions

Sérénitude is a soothing, calming composition, with rose as its dominant feature.  The velvety Damask Rose included in the fragrance is deliciously creamy, as is the natural sandalwood from Australia, the essential oil of which has well known calming and relaxing properties.  Patchouli and benzoin bring a new and contemporary sensuality, but they were also chosen for their clarity and brightness, contributing to a long-lasting trail.  And this trail has nothing to do with excess, but with the natural richness which offers an incomparable density.  This density is also represented in the bottle, with its pure design, by Amazonite.  The ‘visible’ element, aqua green in colour, is renowned for its capacity to protect against negative waves.  It’s also said that this stone, which takes its name from the Amazon River, promotes a sensation of happiness.
