Movember Mo-gress report

With nearly a month of growth under their noses, New Zealanders are now proudly flaunting their Mo’s. Battling through the itch, and finally evolving from a mere shadow to proper lipholstery, Kiwi men are certainly growing attached to their Movember alter egos.

More than 11,000 everyday New Zealanders are taking part in the annual Mo-growing extravaganza to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, including some familiar faces who are gaining Mo-mentum in their moustachery this Movember:




Richie McCaw

McCaw created Mo history when he played his 100th test as captain of the All Blacks with a striking trucker Mo. Just this week Richie shaved his Mo back to a classic slug as he was taken on a jaunt with the Royal Air Force Typhoon during the end of year Northern Hemisphere Tour.

Black Caps

Black Caps Luke Ronchi, Tim Southee, Jimmy Neesham and Corey Anderson all donned Mo’s ahead of Wednesday’s match against Pakistan in UAE.

Nick Best, Villa MO-ria

Captain of the Villa MO-ria team, currently at the top of the Movember leader board, Nick and his understated Mo head up New Zealand’s top fundraising team. As a combined effort, the team from Villa Maria have already raised more than $12,000 for the Movember Foundation.
