New Zealand Paralympian Sophie Pascoe is a finalist in this month's prestigious International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athlete of the Month.

Your vote would be very much appreciated if you have the time. Simply go to http://www.paralympic.org/ and click Sophie Pascoe on poll on right hand side of the home page.

Sophie Pascoe (Para-Swimmer) is one of New Zealand’s most recognised Paralympians – just last month she secured the 100m freestyle (59.77) world record and 100m butterfly (1:03.72) world record in the women's S10 at the Swimming New Zealand Open Championships, securing her place on the team for July's 2015 IPC Swimming Worlds in Glasgow.

Sophie will be one of our leading lights as we head into the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

Voting closes 12:00 (CET) on Friday 8 May - so don't miss out.
