EXERCISE

Exercising helps to strengthen your heart and your immune system – doubly whammy!
It will also help you sweat toxins out of your body and releases endorphins to help you feel fantastic.

VITAMINS

Make sure your diet consists of plenty of organic fruits and veges to ensure your body has all the nutrients it needs to keep functioning at its prime.

GO ORGANIC

Organic fruit is likely to be higher in vitamins and minerals as it’s not exposed to chemicals that drain fruit of its goodness.

A recent study also showed the difference going organic can make within two weeks. Before going organic, subjects showed a number of pesticides in their bodies compared to two weeks later – after embarking an organic diet – almost all the pesticides had disappeared.

MAKE A SMOOTHIE

Blueberries are a great source of vitamins K and C, making them perfect for flu-fighting smoothies. One of our favourites is the Berry Banana Blast.

Recipe:
Blend ¾ cup of frozen OOB Organic Blueberries, ½ cup of baby spinach leaves, 1 frozen banana, ½ ripe avocado, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tbsp honey and 1 cup of ice, stirring several times until pureed. Serve immediately

CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN

Keep cold and flu germs at bay by washing and drying your hands thoroughly, or by using alcohol-based hand sanitizer for on-the-go cleanliness.
