CityFitness is pleased to announce their support of The Kapiti Women’s Triathlon (KWT) taking place on 28 February 2016 by partnering with the trust which administers the KWT Scholarship programme. The KWT Trust believes this initiative aims to further give back to the community by offering two event applicants an all-expense paid build up towards taking part in the 28 February 2016 event.

Club Manager of CityFitness Kapiti, Jin Humphreys says “we’re pleased to be involved with the Kapiti Women’s Triathlon. This will be our 6th year of involvement with the event and we hope that by providing a scholarship by way of a gym membership and Personal Training, we’re helping to change someone’s life for the better.”

This is the fifth year KWT have run the scholarship programme. Event Organiser, Evelyn Williamson says ‘We are looking for applicants that are committed to making some life changes, may have some life/health challenges but are motivated to make the starting line.  There is no pre requisite to having done this event or any other previously.  So if you are either a first timer or it has been many years since you have done anything like this, fill in the application form and tell us why this is important to you’.

The Scholarship Entails:
  • Full Cityfitness gym membership from date of successful application (Mid Oct 2015)  to event day (28 February 2016)
  • One 30 min session per week with your own Cityfitness personal trainer
  • Structured, personally designed & monitored training programme – Cityfitness
